I usually wouldn't do this, but at this point I'm at a standstill. Currently, I have about 21 million gold (items and gold), and I'm questing for Mini Angel Wings. I have been questing since late 2006, early 2007. It's been a hard process, and exchanging and gaining gold can be difficult at times. Minis are about 50mil at this time, and I feel like I'm losing this battle to get them. Every time I've been close in the past, the price jumps. I was wondering if anyone could donate anything. Anything could help, even 1g. I'm sure there are plenty of people here who have lost interest in the game, or hardly play and could spread the wealth. You may feel as though I have enough, or I'm "too rich" to be donated to. But I think of it this way: would you rather donate to a newbie who will play the game for a month and then abandon the account, or, would you rather donate to a determined oldie who will be playing the game for probably years to come? I know there have been a lot of rumors around about Gaia's new game, Booty Grab. If you don't know what it is, every so often in the forums, a poster will have a "Booty Grab" logo on the fishtank in their signature. Click on it, and a window will pop up and fish will start dropping gold. move your cursor back and forth to catch the gold. A lot of people think that the Booty Grab shows up depending on how many tanks you tap, but I believe that they just show up randomly. I find it is helpful if you browse through a Booty Grab thread in the Chatterbox. A lot of them have been in there lately, and if you scroll through a two or three pages you're likely to find a game or two. I went on maybe 3 days ago now and noticed that some of my items were missing. they were apparently traded to mandariin--x. I don't even know who this user is. There is a huge hacking scam going around right now in the B/C community and you all need to be SUPER careful because I'm sure it's not just in that forum either. Someone will send you a PM...it could very well be from the account of a friend of yours (that was hacked, but you wouldn't know unless you had talked to them previously..this is how it's spreading in the B/C forum), but the PM will read: "Hi... I was hoping you would check my main avatar at the arena, and rate it? I'm running this week. Here is the link. (with an actual link here that shows up as a tinyurl when moused over) If you don't want to, that's fine. I'll totally understand. Thanks though. n_n." It will take you to a gaia clone page that 'logs you out' and if you attempt to log in on that page, you will give up your personal information for them to use to get into your account.
